Kitaro stood with his feet spread shoulder width apart. His front [right] foot was exactly 15 inches in front of his back [left] foot. In his mouth was his traditional strange of wheat. It extended approximatly eight inches from his face and upwards at the end becoming fatter and stranding off like an arrow would if he was biting the concussive end. Contained within his right fist was a long pole. A metal pole that for all intents and purposes was made of aluminum. Along the end of the pole was a scythe blade making the weapon a scythe. The material of the blade on the end was that of sharpened and powerful steel. The pole was solid and very heavy but the large muscles that Kitaro possessed were more than enough for the scythe to be held with ease by his hands. He could move it fairly quickly even for it's giant nine foot tall size. The blade on the end was about three feet making it on it's own longer than most Katana. It was in this ready pose that Kitaro awaited an opponent to come to the field.

Post  Ghost Mon Nov 08, 2010 7:58 pm

Ghost walked over the rough sandy ground of the large Arena that was the Gladiator ring, He wore a leather chest guard and leather pants down to the feet where he complemented with leather boots. He stood 6'2 with a massive muscle build of 300 pounds, Over the leather armor was a metal plate with shoulder plates, The plates moved down covering the legs adding a little more weight but a lot more protection to his body. Ghost wielded a spear in his right hand that stood 10 feet long with a sharpened tip. the pole was metal once again more weight but it had been hollowed out allowing flexible movement for each and every strike. He wore no helmet but his hair was cut down to spikes allowing his sight to be unhindered.

Ghost slid into a horse stance his body turned while holding the spear straight out in Bushido Kai Fashion as he examined his opponent. By the stance and the way he his held weapon his enemy was talented, but was this man his level in this battle? Ghost stood ready watching his opponent from all points anatomy teaching him the body would speak it's movements before they happened now he would test his opponent for the last time.

Kitaro rolled his neck as audible cracks and popping noises could be heard as his eyes closed once allowing him no more need for blinking for a good minute without straining his eyes. The man across the arena was fairly large which could be a good thing but it could also be his downfall if his opponent was not skilled enough to use his body the way that it was meant to be used. Kitaro himself stood about 6'1 and had a weight of about 200 pounds. Of course it was all muscle and no fat but that was something that should be assumed.

His scythe rested in his right hand and it was from there that he began. Stepping forward using his more powerful side which contained the scythe Kitaro moved forward. He had ten feet to remove the gap between the other man and his weapon. From that he had another two feet [vagueness rule my good friend. You did not specify the way you are holding your weapon allowing me to beat you to the punch and claim that only two feet of the spear is in front of you while eight feet is behind you.] The obvious disbalance suggested weakness in his opponent. His own scythe's blade rested about six feet above where his right hand gripped it. The blade extended another foot from the blade and it was previously specified how far the weapon's blade reached. Bridging the gap to the no reflex shot zone of six feet Kitaro aimed his attack carefully not at the man but instead at his weapon. Rotating his scythe pole Kitaro grabbed it with his other hand and ducked. The man holding it at his upper torso [again vagueness rule allowing me to determine things that are vital about you from your post not including them.] Kitaro ducked and raised upwards with both hands holding the scythe pole as if it was a staff the blade facing outwards towards his opponent preventing movement to that side of him [left] without being skewered.

Kitaro's duck would allow him to not be stabbed in the face from his run at the enemy's spear though his movement would cost him if the other could figure out how. Meanwhile to continue tipping the balance and knocking this man over Kitaro continued his running motion performing a baseball like slide while holding his scythe pole and sweeping as the entirety of his body skinned forward along his comfortable silk clothing to prevent the sandy damage from being done to him and his knee's being up to prevent sand from permanently ruining his eyesight Kitaro aimed his feet at the feet of his opponent during this slide to test his reflexes and ability to deal with such a situation.
